  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (optional)

  2. Whisk in the smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper until well-blended.
  3. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a simmer.
  4. Stir the sauce occasionally for about 20-30 minutes as it thickens.
  5. Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning, adding Worcestershire sauce or hot sauce if desired.
  6. Allow the sauce to cool before transferring it to an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
